About
About
Earl Grey is a timeless British tea blend, renowned as one of the most beloved black teas globally. Its origins trace back to the 19th century when Charles Grey, the 2nd Earl Grey, received a tea scented with citrus blossoms,Taitaicha, while visiting Canton. Upon his return to England, the blend gained immense popularity in European tea salons, where black tea was infused with the aromatic essence of bergamot citrus, a fruit native to Reggio Di’ Calabria, Italy.
This Earl Grey blend masterfully combines the bold, fruity character of Thai black tea with the smooth, caramel sweetness that adds depth to every sip. The tea’s rich body is beautifully balanced by the bright, floral high notes of geranium and rose, derived from the finest first-pressing bergamot essential oil. The result is an exquisite and harmonious infusion, offering a refreshing yet refined take on a classic tea.
