Masala Chai

Organic Black Tea Blend – Certified Kosher

Spicy | Robust | Fragrant

Spicy yet harmonious, this blend features the rich aromas of cardamom, the bright zest of ginger, and the sweetness of cinnamon, complemented by the boldness of cracked black pepper and the warmth of fragrant cloves.

About

Masala Chai, meaning “mixed spiced tea,” is a traditional blend of black tea and spices native to South and Southeast Asia. This blend combines a robust, malty Assam with a vibrant Orange Pekoe from northern Thailand. This bold yet balanced tea highlights spicy ginger and aromatic cardamom, complemented by the simmering sweetness of cinnamon.

Steeping Instructions

Mix 2 heaping teaspoons of chai, 1 cup water, and 1 cup milk in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and stir in sweetener to taste. Strain into a mug or pitcher and enjoy! Chai can also be enjoyed over ice.

Recommendations: SereniTea Cup is honored to be a part of your tea journey. For optimal tea taste, we recommend using filtered or bottled water when brewing. We also understand that tea is a personal experience, and recommend experimenting with the brewing time, water temperature, and leaf-to-water ratio to adapt this brew to your preferences.
